cbs band  Br. John Daly founded the enagh CBS Concert Band in 1985. A committee of
parents and volunteers currently manageit on behalf of the C.B.S. Primary and
Secondary schools. In recent years membership has been opened to other
schools and to both boys and girls. Noprevious musical experience is required to join.
The Band's main purpose is to provide students with an opportunity to
become proficient mucians on their selceted instrument. The Band's repertoire is wide and varied,
with a concentration on bass and woodwind sections. The Band has an impressive list of accomplishments
including playing for President Mary McAleese, and appearing on the "Late LAte Show". They have also
performed in Germany, Austria, France and, most recently, in Barcelona, Spain.
