Through the CSPE and Religious Educational Programmes we try to
develop am awareness of the meeds of people in less fortunate
circumstances both in Irelamd and in the Devloping circumstances
both in Ireland and in Devloping Countries. Our students engage in
fund-rasing and offer active assistance, particularly through Social
Concern Programme in Tranistion Year. We regulalry support various
approved charities and worthy causes. Transition Year students are involved
in the 'Young Social Innovators Project', developed by Sr. Stanislaus
Kennedy to improve the quailty of life within communities. Our students
are also involved in the Fair Trade Project with the objective of raising
awareness in the Nenagh area of fair trade for products from Developing Countries.
The Students do this by running Fair Trade Awareness Weeks within
the school.
