In 2003 and again in 2006 eight students and three teachers visited Zambia as part of the C.B.S Immersion programme. The purpose of these visits were to give our students and teachers an experience of what it is like to live and work in a Developing Country. During our stay we visited local schools, the hospital, the prision and other places of interest. We brought with us much needed aid in the form of money, medicine and educational materials. Our school continues to fund and help specific projects. These efforts develop the on-going links between our school and the community in Mazabuka. Our work has been acknowledged on Nationwide Television, and we have featured on the RTE programme, 'An Evening Prayer' on fourteen separate occasions. It is envisaged that every three years students and teachers will travel to Zambia to continue to raise awareness of life in the Devloping World.
