The C.B.S aims to help all students develop their full potential. We aim to promote the education of the whole person through building self-confidence and teaching practical coping skills. To achieve this we have support services in place to facilitate students to access the curriculum. Students are encouraged and assisted to particiapte in external awards and competitions. The following additional support is given when needed: - A specific Literacy Programme which addresses the particular learning difficulties of the student - Tutorials available in MAthematics - Science Support - Information Technology: Scanners, Kurtweil Co-Writer, etc. - Study and Organizational Skills - Drop-in facilty for writin up projects. - Homework Club We also provide assistance with examination arrangements. The C.B.C offers equal opportunites in education to all students and they are encouraged to participate fully in schoo life. In order to support this commitment, we will try to provide the necessary support and facilities that students may require as a result of their disability and heighten disability awareness among staff and students. We encourage parents of students with disabilties or medical condidtions to get in touch with us early, so that we can discuss their special needs. Contact Person: Ms. Marie Whelan.
