Presentation to The Dillon Quirke Foundation

On Wednesday we were delighted to welcome Dan Quirke to Nenagh CBS to speak about ‘The Dillon Quirke Foundation’. Dan, with his wife Hazel and daughters Shannon & Kellie established ‘The Dillon Quirke Foundation’ following Dillon’s passing in August 2022 as a result of Sudden Adult Death Syndrome (SADS). The purpose of the foundation is to raise awareness of SADS & fund widespread cardiac screening for young people aged 12 - 18 involved in sport.

Following a successful school ‘Enterprise Week’ organised and run by our TY & 5th Year LCVP students, we were delighted to be able to present a cheque to Dan for €1,200. Well done to all the students & teachers who helped out over the course of the week.
