Tipp success for U20s and Minor Teams.
We are so proud of our Sixth year students Darragh McCarthy, Mason Cawley, Ciarán Foley, Andrew Hoolan and past-pupil Jack O'Callaghan who all played pivotal roles in Tipperary winning the Munster Under 20 Hurling Championship Final against Cork. Man of the Match, Darragh, scored a key point in the last minute to win the game.
Equally we are incredibly proud of TY and Fifth year students Billy O'Brien, Eoghan Doughan, Evan Sherlock, Joe O'Dwyer, Conor Grace, Patrick McCormack, Austin Duff and Patrick Hackett who are all Munster Minor Championship Medal winners. These boys were all part of the Tipperary Minor hurling panel that won the Electric Ireland Munster Hurling Final against Clare on a score line of 2-17 to 0-16. The boys got a heroes welcome when they returned to the school on Friday showcasing their new silverware.
